Amadesa provides a Software as a Service (SaaS) technology platform and applications for website optimization. We are looking for an experienced Director of Marketing to join our rapidly growing company. The Director of Marketing must think strategically, enjoy taking initiative, have the ability to execute on marketing strategy and plans, and share our enthusiasm about building a company in a growing and competitive market. The Director of Marketing at Amadesa will have an opportunity to work closely with all levels of the organization and be directly involved in helping achieve our performance and growth objectives.
The position of Director of Marketing reports to the SVP Marketing and Business Development at Amadesa.
The responsibilities of the Director of Marketing include:
· Developing marketing strategy
· Competitor and partner analysis, specifically focused on insight into their positioning, branding, and value propositions
· Working closely with sales and product management to develop collateral and sales materials
· Planning, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns, which are consistent with our company’s strategy (online, email marketing, direct mail, etc)
· Developing Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies and tactics
· Developing messaging and positioning for company and products, including analysis of market segment focus, competitive differentiation, business definition, etc.
· Ensuring consistency of branding, messaging, and positioning throughout the website and online and print materials
· Communicating Amadesa’s strategy and positioning to industry analysts, thought leaders, etc.
· Developing Amadesa’s brand strategy
· Working with product management to develop product and service pricing, taking into account competitive landscape and offerings
· Developing and executing media plans to reach print and online publications, journalists, and analysts
· Assisting with website strategy and implementation to achieve corporate objectives

Job Requirements
Education and experience:
A qualified Director of Marketing candidate will have broad marketing experience, with an emphasis in marketing strategy and successful execution of marketing campaigns from start to finish. Candidate should have experience within eCommerce as well as experience working with customers in a B2B environment. The Director of Marketing candidate must also have experience in online and traditional marketing, with greater emphasis in online marketing.
· Bachelor’s degree required. MBA strongly preferred
· Minimum 10 years marketing experience, with a proven track record
· Experience in traditional and online marketing, setting strategy and executing plans
· Experience conducting online marketing campaigns in B2B setting
· Should have experience in (or very deep understanding of) ecommerce
· Prior experience with a technology company is preferred
· Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate strong initiative
· Desire to build a team over time, but ability and willingness to be hands-on in the early days
· Ability to execute as well as think strategically
