As a direct marketing company with a 34 year history of providing a world-class customer experience, we seek to continuously improve our internet shopping experience. We seek an experienced web analytics professional to guide, inform and evaluate our e-commerce initiatives in a data-driven, thoughtful and provocative manner. The ideal candidate will have a web analytics background, and have the ability to think quantitatively and analytically as well as creatively and intuitively.
Responsibilities
· Manage and continually improve ongoing measurement of key sales and site behavior indicators
· Perform in-depth analyses of shoppers’ website behavior and customer experience
· Mine web analytics data and report on key trends
· Recommend, design and run A/B testing and multivariate analyses
· Serve as Omniture “power user”; train business managers on Omniture tool use and assist them in creating and maintaining business-area dashboards
· Liaise with Marketing, Merchandising, Creative, IT and E-Commerce functions in the evaluation and implementation of web solutions
· Assist in research survey creation and analysis

Job Requirements
Desired Skills and Experience
· At least 2 years of experience in business analytics, applying data to generate specific site improvements
· Minimum 2 years of proficiency with Omniture or other major site analytics tool
· Advanced MS Excel skills
· Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
· Strong written and verbal communications
· In-depth knowledge of Internet terminology, KPI creation, sales and pathing analyses, and testing
· Experience working with “internal clients” to understand their business needs and present recommendations back to them
· Innovative analytical approach to problem solving – an ability to not just measure and analyze but to inform strategy and recommend new tactics
· Direct marketing, relational databases, SQL, or SAS a plus
